Hello, all! It has been a few weeks since my last post. It has certainly not been from a lack of desire, but that time seems to keep getting away from me. HOWEVER, I am overdue in wishing a huge congratulations to dear friend and Walking for Kids board member William McGirt for his win at the Memorial Tournament. a few weeks back. He has always been a grinder without a "quit" in him. It was just a matter of time before he broke through. Headed into the Memorial, McGirt had collected 14 top-10 finishes, three of which were runner-up showings. Not only did William make his first win in Mr. Nicklaus' tournament, but it is an event which offers a three-year exemption, as opposed to the standard of two for other PGA TOUR events.

William's friendship with me goes back years. He has always supported me and what I do. In fact, he has been such a supporter that he agreed to serve on the foundation's board. I appreciate his support and friendship very much. His win was both impressive and overdue. I'm also sure it's the first of many others on TOUR. Congrats, William!

After the Memorial Tournament, it was off to Memphis for the FedEx St. Jude Classic. I had the opportunity to walk with the event's 2013 champion Harris English. Harris has a big heart, as evidenced by his support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and various other charities. I really appreciated him taking me along for the week.

This week, I'm at Oakmont for the U.S. Open, following World No. 1 Jason Day. As I write this, the cut has yet to be made, but this thing could clearly go any number of ways.

That about catches you up to what has been going on. Please know how much I appreciate each and every one of you...even if it's just for taking the time to read this. I'm so grateful to be able to do what I do and be out there each week to spend time with the good people that you all are.

Congratulations to William, thank you to Harris and Jason. The outcome of the U.S> Open is sure to be interesting. The next few weeks will have me at the Quicken Loans National outside Washington D.C. and then in Akron, Ohio for the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational.

Happy Summer, everyone. Thanks, again!

See you down the road soon, I hope.
