Hello, all! It has been a while since I wrote, but it hasn't been for lack of want. For those who follow the PGA TOUR, you know that the end of one season virtually rolls right into the start of a new season.

Before I start in one the 2016-17 TOUR season, I just wanted to put an official exclamation point on 2015-16. I had another great year! Why? I did because of you. I cannot stress enough how much your support and friendship means to me as I make my way. Sure, I am having a wonderful time doing what I do, but that isn't my main motivation. Why I'm out here every week is two-fold. On the one hand, I'm here to hopefully inspire others to never give in or up on ANY plans, goals or dreams, no matte the obstacles. Doctors told my parents when I was a kid army-crawling around on the floor that I would never walk. Well, not only did I bust up that prediction, but for the last nine years straight now, I have walked every hole of every PGA TOUR event. I'm not diminishing my own importance or strength, but if I can do it, you can, too.

The other reason I'm out here is to help provide tangible support to those in need. I do this by way of raising funds to give back to organizations who help those who need it most. If things continue according to my hopes and dreams, in just three more years, I will have donated $1 million dollars through the "Walking For Kids" Foundation. For that, I owe a tremendous amount of thanks to the PGA TOUR players who are always willing to take me on and donate to the Foundation. THANK YOU, guys!

We're now week three into the 2016-17 PGA TOUR Season and I find myself back in a place near and dear to my heart, Jackson, Miss. This week is the Sanderson Farms Championship, which provides amazing financial support every year to the Friends of Children's Hospital here locally. Three years ago, thanks to the support of many PGA TOUR players and other friends and supporters, the "Walking For Kids" Foundation was able to donate $25,000 to the Hospital. The work they do there is remarkable and has changed, improved and saved countless lives!

I'm really excited for another season on TOUR. I feel great and head into this season with a strong spirit, god shoes and plenty of new cane tips! Ha Ha!!

I just want to thank you all, again. Without you, none of this would be possible. Because of you, so much has become possible for so many.

Remember, never give up on anything. Obstacles are nothing more than speed bumps. They aren't brick walls. Obstacles are meant to be overcome and they make what's on the other side taste and feel that much sweeter. Keep at it. Work hard. Enjoy.

I look forward to seeing each and every one of you down the road soon!

Sincerely,

DJ
