Hello, everyone - Thank you for checking in. I've got lots to update you on since last month's post.

First, there was the annual "Walking for Kids" Pro-Am. This year, the event took place the Monday of Wells Fargo Championship week in Charlotte. It took a lot of work and effort from a lot of people to pull off this year's event. I want to offer a very sincere shout out of "Thank you" to everyone who helped make it another success. We ended up giving $40,000 to charity.

The day was incredibly special. We had PGA TOUR players, celebrities and a host of excited amateurs. Without question, the hit of the day was young Lucas Riley. He came out to more-or-less entertain and have fun. He was a blast at the 1-arm challenge. Players, caddies, amateurs and celebrities all loved having Lucas out with us.

For as successful as every annual pro-am has been, we've decided to move in a different direction with our fundraising endeavors. With that said, last month's Pro-Am was the last of its kind. Moving forward, we're going to attempt to hold a series of smaller events, designed to incorporate amateurs and professionals in a more of a one-on-one way. While we're sad to see the one, big annual pro-am go away, we are really excited about new ways to raise at least as much money, if not more. Stay tuned for more details.

As for the past few weeks, at the Wells Fargo Championship, I walked with former Charlotte resident Harold Varner III. Harold is about the most easy-going, relaxed guy on TOUR....leaving alone funny. The guy is a riot. Apparently, I decided to walk with him a week too early, as he finished seventh at THE PLAYERS Championship a week later!

Speaking of THE PLAYERS, I not only got to follow close friend Ben Martin, but I had the honor of having my mom with me. It was special to get to be with her on Mother's Day weekend!

At last week's AT&T Byron Nelson, I walked with Shawn Stefani. He ended up with 19 birdies and an eagle for the week en route to a T26 finish. I mention the number of birdies only because that's what player donations are based on. As many of you know, a player commits to any dollar amount he wishes for every birdie and/or eagle. Everyone has just been great over the years with their contributions.

So, it seems summer is officially here. Some of you may still be in school taking exams, but it's close! I wish you all a great summer. I imagine some of you will be taking summer jobs, maybe even picking up your first-ever summer job. Good luck with that. To everyone else, I wish you a safe and happy time.

Again, I do get a bit emotional knowing our annual pro-am has taken its place in the history book. But, I try to see it as the beginning of a new thing rather than the end of an old one. The future is where it's at. Keep marching into yours with your head held high and your voice strong. Be good and true to one another, always. Remember, you are in charge of everything that comes out of your head and mouth. See the good or silver lining in everything. Attitudes are free, so keep on buying the best ones!

Thank you for reading and giving a bit of your time to me. Just knowing you are all out there warms my heart and keeps me moving. I hope to see you all down the road somewhere soon!
