Hello, everyone! Thank you for taking a minute to check in and see what's been going on with me. It was a nice summer. Hot...but, nice! I hope each of you is doing well and keeping your best foot forward.

So, I guess I'll dial it back to the beginning of summer and let you know what's been happening.

At the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to walk with Sergio Garcia. He is such a great guy and his sweet wife, Angela, is a good friend of mine. I'll look forward to following them again soon.

A week later, I was in Greensboro, N.C. for the Wyndham Championship, where I followed Scott Brown for a second time. He is also a fantastic guy.

While I was at the Wyndham Championship, I was so happy to be a part of the All-Star Kids Clinic put on by veteran PGA TOUR caddie Paul Tesori and his wife Michelle. The event was a golf clinic for kids with special needs. Paul and Michelle are amazing people. I'd encourage you to learn more about the wonderful things they do with their Foundation. Check it out at

The first event in the FedExCup Playoffs was THE NORTHERN TRUST. The Playoffs is a 4-tournament series for players who finish inside the top-125 in FedExCup points. There is an elimination after each Playoffs event, with only the top-30 making it to the TOUR Championship at East Lake in Atlanta.

At THE NORTHERN TRUST, I was with Justin Thomas, who finished 8th. He is always a great guy to me and always willing to help the Foundation out.

At the Dell Technologies Championship a week later outside Boston, only the top-100 advanced. I had the great pleasure of walking with Webb Simpson that week and his longtime caddie, Paul Tesori.

Only the top-70 moved on to the third Playoffs event, the BMW Championship. I was with Jordan Spieth there. Because of lingering effects from a tropical storm, we experienced a lot of nasty weather that week. In fact, Sunday of what was supposed to be the final round was completely washed out. So, we finished the tournament Monday. Hat's off to the PGA TOUR Rules Officials for pulling that off so well.

So, that brings me to now. There is an off week during the Playoffs before the final event, the TOUR Championship. And, that off week is now. I'm going to University of Michigan to spend a few days with their Athletic Department. I spoke to volleyball team Wednesday, Athletic Department coaches Thursday, Women's Golf Friday. I'll attend the Volleyball game Friday night and football game Saturday.

After that, it's over to France for the Ryder Cup! I'll take plenty of notes and stay in touch from Europe.

I always like to close these blogs by thanking you. I thank you for taking the time to read my stuff or stay in touch. I truly believe the people you let into your life have a big impact on how well you life and enjoy life. I see some of you a lot, while others of you I have yet to meet. But, you all matter to me. I appreciate you.

Keep good people in your life and be a good person in others' lives. That pretty much sums it up. Thank you, again, for reading my stuff.

Stay strong and go long!
